A: At BCS, we strive to provide the best-in-class service with excellent surgical result. We have the one of the best doctors in Thailand. Most of them are faculty members at Chulalongkorn University, one of the most famous medical schools in Asia, with intensive experience in the field. Furthermore, we use state-of-the-art equipment imported from the U.S. and Europe.
Our services do not end after you leave BCS. Our team of experts will follow up with you to ensure smooth recuperation and results.
Results & Complications
Q: What should I do if I have any complications?
A: You should contact BCS immediately via office visit, phone, and/or e-mail. It is imperative that you inform your surgeon about the symptoms right away.
The key to avoid any complications is to follow the pre and post surgery instructions strictly. The experience and expertise of our surgeons and staffs at BCS help minimize potential risks. Should you need any corrective surgery; no additional fee will be charged to your account.

Q: What is included/excluded in the surgery price?
Are there any additional charges to the surgery price?
A: Please check our pricing for more information on each procedure. The pricing usually covers routine pre-operative investigations, operating room charges, required medical equipment and medical supplies, hospital stay, medication, anesthesiologist fee and surgeon fee.
Although transportation and accommodation are not a part of our basic pricing, BCS can help you arrange all transportations such as airport transfer and/or hotel reservation during your visit. We had special arrangement with several hotels/apartment nearby BCS. From those hotels, you can easily commute to BCS by BTS Sky train and/or MRT train. Additional charges may incur such as transportation fee, long distance call charge, etc. We inform you with all the costs before your arrival in Bangkok.
Booking/Postpone/Cancel the surgery
Q: How far in advance do I need to book my surgery?
A: As soon as possible. The sooner you schedule your surgery date, the higher chance you will get the date that you requested for.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A:
• If you need to postpone or cancel your surgery, please let us know in writing (via ...email or fax) as soon as possible.
• If you need to postpone or cancel your surgery 15 days before surgery, 5% of the ...deposit will be held as an administration fee.
• If the result of the initial consultation shows that you are not a good candidate for the ...surgery, 5% of the deposit will be held as a consultation and administration fee.
• If the result of the preoperative evaluation shows that you are not a good candidate ...for the surgery, 5% of the deposit and the incurred preoperative evaluation costs ...(2,000 THB) will be held as administration and preoperative evaluation fee.
• If you do not show up for your surgery date or decide to postpone or cancel the ...surgery with less than 48 hours notice for any reason other than your surgeon ...recommendation, BCS will not give you any refund.
My recovery
Q: Do I need to stay overnight in the hospital? If yes, for how many days? Can I stay in the hotel after my surgery? How many days do I need to be in BKK before I can go home?
A: We prefer that you stay overnight at the hospital. It is important that we provide you with the best post-operative care at the hospital where professional staff and services are available at all times.
You can stay in a private hospital room without any additional charges for number of nights informed in the package. If you feel more convenience to stay longer, it is US$ 200/day.
However, if you feel more comfortable to have your recovery at the hotel/apartment and your surgeon agrees with that, you may be discharged from the hospital sooner. You will still have access to the BCS staffs during your recovery period.
English Language
Q: Why would I need the interpreter?
A: Our primary communication language will be English. We can arrange Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, German or Korean interpreter to help you during your consultation. If you require an interpreter other than English, please make it clear before hand in the request form.
Mobile Phone
Q: Is there any additional charge for using the mobile phone?
A: The phone is prepaid (approximate US$ 10.00 or 100 minutes talk time for local calls). You will be able to make local and long distance (not international) call with your phone. Once you exceed the credit limit, you may purchase the pre-paid phone card from the retail store or from BCS staff.
In the phone memory you will find the following numbers:

You may return the mobile phone to BCS staff during your last follow-up appointment.
Visa
Q: Do I need visa for my trip to Thailand?
A: A tourist visa is not required for visitor from most countries including Australia, Japan, Korea, Spain, France, the US and the UK, etc. Please check the detail at www.thaiembassy.com
Weather
Q: What type of cloth should I wear when I'm in Bangkok?
A: Light, loose cotton clothing or clothing with good ventilation is appropriate most of the time through out the year. For comprehensive 5-day forecast go to http://www.weather.com where you can type Bangkok under the city name.
Electricity
Q: Can I use my electrical appliances in Thailand?
A: Voltage in Thailand is 220 V. You may not want to use your electrical appliances from Europe or US unless you have adapter to plug in.
Insurance
Q: Should I buy travel insurance from my home country?
A: Yes, we recommended you to have adequate travel insurance. Most travel insurance cover theft, loss, accident and medical problems. Check with your insurance company for the coverage.
